After watching the Fillipino Southpaw take apart Antonio Margarito at Cowboy stadium for the now-vacant WBS title, it's hard to picture 39 year old Shane Mosely taking too much of a bite out of Manny Pacquiao. However, I have reason to believe that if Shane Mosely comes out with the right stuff, this could be a bout for the ages. Firstly, even Pacquiao has praised Mosley's performance again De La Hoya in 2000 and 2003. Mosely is big and determined. Sugar never really reached the tipping point of greatness that some argue he deserves and beating Pacquiao could do it, albeit late in the game. For Pacquiao, this is another stone on his way across the river (and hopefully, Floyd Mayweather is on the other side of that river). He needs to be at the top of his game though, because there is a giant-killer on the loose.
