Where to Watch UFC 129 in NYC

The highlight of this whole thing is Georges St. Pierre -- a Canadian, and the event is in Ontario (first time since they legalized the junk in August 2010) -- vs. Jake Shields, an American. Sherdog has St. Pierre, who some consider among the best overall fighters in the world, as the No. 2 pound-for-pound guy in UFC; they have Shields No. 7. I have no way Shields can win this fight -- if hockey, sexuality, and Saturday Night Live cast members have taught me anything, Canadians tend to trump Americans in situations where it matters most (Mike Meyers made A LOT of money) -- but I also thought Lesnar would be champion of this organization still, to this day, and he is clearly not. So apparently I know little.

Also notable: two Brazilians on the card (Lyoto Machada and Jose Aldo), and Randy Couture is fighting. Couture, in the last six years, has retired, come back, resigned, come back, divorced his wife, embraced the GOP, refused to endorse McCain/Palin, and overall gotten older. Dude has no business being anywhere near a ring. Hopefully it's all over but the shouting here.
