True story: this joint has NHL Center Ice (or, for at least part of the 2008-2009 NHL season, it did). We walked in here late on a Friday, looking for a burger and a beer, and we ended up watching a Flames-Canucks game and talking to some diehard. Interesting experience.

Basic jam here: the place will usually be crowded (although less so during the day on the weekends, i.e. NFL/college games). It's not a place to go if you're looking for a young crowd -- you're mostly going to get older Irish guys. The food is solid (one of our girlfriends loves the strawberry rhubarb pie), the beer selection is good to above average for an Irish pub, and one of the main bartenders (Dave) will do magic if asked. Would recommend it mostly for a low-key outing with sports as a sidebar and not the focus -- but if you get into convos at the bar here, you can have a few laughs and share some interesting tales.

Pretty hardcore baseball fans in here, too.
