Finnerty's sits in the shadows of the often packed Professor Thom's, but as far as we are concerned, it's a hidden gem. Finnerty's started as one of the diviest in the village, but has been shined up to be NYU friendly, although it was very careful not to lose it's charm and charactor. There's a multitude of flatscreens and the beers come cheap. They are without a kitchen, but the bar doesn't frown on bringing in your own grub or even getting some delivery. They are especially kind if you are from the city that knows how. That's San Francisco, if you are someone who doesn't know how.
