One of us works near this joint, and back in 2007 or so, we were spending a good deal of time here, including taking a few Match.Com dates over to this spot. It's pretty cool -- legitimate Australian food, drink, and shots of the Australian countryside all around. Usually gets pretty crowded for rugby, Aussie rules anything, Aussie anything, and sometimes NFL Sundays. You can meet some interesting people here; legitimate ex-pats from down under, who are typically fascinated to discuss The Simpsons Australian episode or any stereotypes running rampant in Crocodile Dundee. It's very accessible via multiple subway lines and on a random Friday or Saturday night, you may not find it crowded -- so it's a good place to kick back and have a legitimate conversation. Enjoy.
