We used to used this place as a Union Square entry point; meaning, if we had something to do in that general area later in the evening, we'd go here first for a couple of drinks / an appetizer. It plays decent music, has a long bar, and typically isn't very crowded. It's a great "entry point to an evening" spot as a result. This past fall, we learned that it has a pretty high Michigan Wolverines fan turnout for football (and hoops, apparently), so if you like maize and blue (or yellow and blue, or just like Best Buy as a concept), come down here during the two major college sports seasons. Bartenders are friendly, it's near a ton of other bars if you're into a 'hopping' concept that night, and it's accessible via anything subway-wise that crosses 14th.
