2009 Stanley Cup Finals

This year's Stanley Cup finals offers more than enough hype and intrigue to compete with the NBA playoffs. First, Pittsburgh fans are hungry for the Pittsburgh Penguins to redeem themselves after last year's heartbreaking final. Second, Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin offer the most explosive one-two punch since Lemieux and Jagr. On the other side of the rink you have the Detroit Red Wings, one of the most consistently dominant teams in sports, a healthy Nicklas Lidstrom and Chris Chelios reminding us that age is nothing but a number.

We expect an explosive Game 7 this Friday, June 12th at 8pm to determine this year's Stanley Cup Champions. Throughout the series, Red Wings fans have been congregating at Landsdowne Road and we've seen lots of Penguins fans at both Blondie's West and Foley's. We'll be watching. Will you?
