2009 Tour de France

The 96th Tour de France kicked off on July 4th in Monaco. Admittedly, given the early start time and the length duration of some stages, we have generally relegated tour-watching to our apartments. Which is why we were so delighted to see the Gray Lady shout out the tour and some cool stage watches being hosted in the city.

Both the Century Road Club Association and the New York Cycling Club are hosting stage watches for this Sunday's mountain stage at BXL and Blondie's East respectively. The NYCC is also hosting a game watch on July 21 for stage 16.

Whether you are pro or con Lance, these big stages are not to be missed. And for you early drinkers, Stout, a Where We Watch favorite, will be showing every stage. Cheers!
