Northwestern Wildcats

Dual threat Quarterback Dan Persa will attempt to fill the shoes vacated by standout quarterback Mike Kafka.  While this offense led the conference last year in passing, they were horrid on the ground and rarely put up big points.  Persa’s running ability will definitely help with the former and it is yet to be determined if that will then translate into helping with the latter.  Replacing Corey Wooten on defense is no small task, but this unit top to bottom looks like it is ready to take the next step under head coach Pat Fitzgerald.
